Our Story

Our journey began in a way only God could have orchestrated. I first saw Anas through a mutual friend who shared her picture from a church program; the launch of our centenary celebration, which I interestingly couldn't attend. In that picture, she stood with a beautiful smile, gracefully dressed in her Salvation Army uniform, and proudly holding the Army's flag. I knew at once there was something special about her.

With a little persistence and some witty persuasion, I got her contact and asked her to be my friend; an invitation she graciously accepted. Not long after, I invited her to my branch during a youth program where I was scheduled to preach. That was the moment as she listened, she quietly thought to herself, "He could be the one".

Our first date followed soon after, and three years down the line, here we are ready to begin a new chapter of our lives together. Our love story was birthed in our shared love for God, and it is our deepest desire to keep it rooted and seasoned in Him.

Today, I joyfully say: Behold, my beautiful bride, in whom I am well pleased.
